平静中的暴力隐患 Time Bombs at School

——上海心灵花园心理咨询中心季龙妹接受采访谈青少年成长问题

也许没人想到，前不久，上海一名高中生平静地在老师办公室里，从书包中掏出榔头，砸向自己的英语老师；无独有偶，这不禁让我们想起去年华东政法大学学生向老师泼开水的惨剧，而学生伤害的理由仅仅是老师对她迟到的一句批评；近日，一个武汉的13岁女孩试图以逃学、跳楼等方式，迫使父母放弃即将诞生的弟弟或妹妹后未遂，竟以割腕威胁，怀孕14周的母亲不得不选择人工流产。

Whena quiet intelligent student walked into his teacher's office one day lastmonth, few could have expected that he would then take out a hammer and attackher, leaving the teacher suffering a fractured skull. At the end of last year,a college student threw a cup of boiling water at the face of her professorsimply because the professor criticized her for being late. After threateningto quit school, run away from home, jump off a building, a 13-year-old girlfrom Wuhan eventually tried slicing open her wrist with a blade. In the end,the mother, almost 14 weeks pregnant, had an abortion. 

不断发生的悲剧敲响警钟：如今青少年的暴力倾向是否日趋严重？他们的压力和负面情绪是否不能得到合理的宣泄？面对独生子女占多数的家庭格局，家长该怎么办？

Traditionally,depression and anxiety disorders have been regarded as the major mental healthproblems troubling the city's teenagers. But are these recent incidentsreflecting an alarming change in behavior where violent confrontations willbecome more common and dangerous.

上海心灵花园心理咨询中心的首席心理专家季龙妹说：“很多来我们中心就诊的孩子是因为焦虑或抑郁等情绪问题，而在许多情况下,抑郁和焦虑障碍又是同时存在的。这样的问题占我所接触过的案例的一半。“

"In many cases depression and anxiety disorderscoexist," explained Ji Longmei, the chief psychological therapist with theShanghai Soul Garden Psychological Counseling Center. "These problemsaccount for half the cases I handle."

季老师说：“年轻人暴力行为的多发，所揭示出的心理问题是不应该忽视的。这往往是涉及到多方面因素的相互影响。首先是来自家庭的影响。我曾经见过一个父亲为了他的孩子不会输，而教他如何打架。如果连父母的态度都是错误的，怎么能让孩子保持正确呢？

Jisaid young people who had violent outbursts revealed a psychological problemthat should not be ignored. A combination of factors was usually involved."First there is the influence of the family. I have seen a father teachhis child how to beat up other children so that his child wouldn't lose. If theparental attitudes are wrong, how can a child be right?"

季老师说，一些父母带孩子来她这里咨询,往往是因为孩子遭受了殴打或因在学校参与打架斗殴已被学校暂停上课。到目前为止没有一个父母是因为自己孩子欺负弱小或伤害到别人而来我中心就诊的。

The therapist said that some city parents brought their childrento her to consult after the children had been beaten or were suspended fromclass after getting involved in a fight. To date there hasn't been a singleparent who has taken a child to see a psychologist at the center because thechild violently attacked someone without motivation.

“父母认为这是一个很严重的问题，即如果他们的孩子受到别人的伤害或者他们的学习受到影响。而只要不影响学习，他们从不认为孩子攻击别人是什么大问题。”季老师说道，这种过分强调学业成绩的态度导致忽视了孩子的心理健康发展，在某种程度上,这已经帮助并触发了这些暴力事件。

"Parents think it's a big issue if their children are hurtby others or if their study is affected. They never believe that it's a bigproblem when their child inflicts some kind of physical assault on another aslong as it doesn't affect their studies," Ji said. "The overemphasison academic performance has resulted in neglecting children's mental health andthis has helped, to a certain extent, trigger these violent incidents."

“暴力的接受度已经被社会和家庭强行输入给青少年。如今你可以在很多电视节目和电脑游戏中看到暴力画面，情节。还有当家庭环境不和谐时也是一个问题。一些年轻夫妇在孩子面前争吵,甚至打架,这就会使孩子习得这种行为。”

Ji said acceptance of violence has been passively injected intothese young people by society and their families. "Violence can be seen onso many television shows and computer games. And there are also problems whenthe family environment is discordant. Some young couples quarrel or even fightin front of their children and that's how children learn this behavior."

季老师说,人诉诸于暴力可能会以消极的方式看世界，但在大多数情况下,他们只是没有意识到,他们是不同的。

The psychologist said that people who resorted to violence couldsee the world in a negative way, but in most situations they were just unawareof that they were different.
